About us
The main provider of professional, live classical music in Argyll is the group of music societies across the county who act independently and also together form Argyll and Bute Concert Tours.
The societies act together in planning and scheduling their annual programmes which tend to run between September and May each year.
These programmes bring access to live chamber music concerts featuring artists like the renowned Scottish Ensemble and the concerts take place in Mid Argyll, Bute, Oban, Cowal, Kintyre and Helensburgh.
In the summer season, concerts are provided at Crear, a privately managed artists studio, recording and performance venue in an enviably beautiful position on the remote Kilberry peninsula, with panoramic views across the sound to the islands of Islay and Jura.
